Director of Product Management — USA
Infinite Uptime • Industrial AI for heavy industry reliability
Infinite Uptime is hiring a hands-on, senior Director of Product Management, based in the US, to lead our
product strategy across asset reliability, process intelligence, and the PlantOS platform. You will set the multiyear roadmap that moves customers from predictive maintenance to prescriptive and semi-autonomous
operations, and you will hire and grow the PM team that delivers it.
This is a senior role. You are expected to write specs, run discovery with customers in cement plants and steel
mills, hold the prioritization line with engineering, and represent the product credibly at the executive level.
What you'll own
• Product vision & roadmap. A multi-year vision for PlantOS spanning predictive maintenance, prescriptive
decision support, process optimization, and the underlying data platform — translated into a concrete,
sequenced roadmap.
• Backlog and execution. A well-prioritized backlog for a sizable, distributed engineering organization. You can
hold the line on what ships next without slowing teams down.
• Team leadership. Coaching a team of more junior product managers across reliability, process, and
platform. You set the bar on discovery, prioritization, and outcome metrics.
• Customer and partner-facing product leadership. Enterprise accounts in North America and Europe, plus
strategic partners (OEMs, CMMS/EAM, GSIs, hyperscalers) and pre-sales.
• Cross-functional alignment. Tight partnership with Engineering, AI/ML, Platform, and Customer Success on
architecture, delivery cadence, and security & compliance.
What we're looking for
• 7+ years in B2B product management, including at least 5 years building enterprise platforms for heavy
industry — cement, steel, oil & gas, mining, power, or chemicals.
• Deep domain knowledge of equipment reliability and maintenance practices (RCM, PdM, CBM) and the
plant systems they integrate with: CMMS/EAM (SAP PM, Maximo), historians, DCS, PLC, SCADA, MES.
• Track record of shipping B2B platform products that engineering teams genuinely want to work on. You
manage a backlog as fluently as you write a PRD.
• Demonstrated PM leadership. You have hired, coached, and leveled-up a team of product managers — not
just managed projects.
• Hands-on instinct. You would rather jump on a customer call or pair with an engineer than send a status
email. Senior, but not removed from the work.
• Executive presence. Comfortable in front of customer C-suite, our executive team, and the board.
Preferred
• Prior PM leadership at industrial software companies (GE Digital, Siemens, Honeywell, Rockwell, Emerson,
AVEVA, ABB) or industrial AI / reliability startups (Augury, Uptake, C3 AI, AspenTech, Seeq, etc.).
• Exposure to closed-loop automation, advanced process control (APC/MPC), edge AI, or IIoT platforms.
• Engineering or applied-science background; MBA a plus, not required.
Location
US-based (East or Central time zone preferred). Regular travel to customer sites and to our India engineering
hub
