Inventory coordination
— monitor stock levels and collaborate with warehouse and planning teams to prevent shortages or overstocks
Cost optimization
— analyze spending trends, identify savings opportunities, and implement cost-reduction strategies
Compliance & documentation
— ensure adherence to company policies and legal regulations; maintain accurate records of purchases, prices, and contracts
Reporting
— prepare purchase analysis and market research reports to support decision-making
Cross-functional collaboration
— work with finance, operations, and other departments to forecast demand and align procurement with business needs
Team support
— assist in training junior staff and supervising day-to-day workflow
